 We have to confront realities if we’re going to move forward, so that’s an important touchstone of the poems. The poems that would inspire hope and foster a sense of collective purpose. So I tried to write for the readers to achieve this purpose and get inspiration through nature imagery.

“Regeneration” poetry book is written while India has suffered from Covid 19 for past 18 months. Life is not pleasing everyone, it is about hurting no one. We need strength to recover. As Japanese proverb says, “Your mind being calm, but alert, relaxed but ready, smooth but sharp, humble but confident, you could face the world.” Through my poems I tried readers to engage with my imagery.
