This luxury high-rise hotel is a 9-minute walk from the Museum of Contemporary Art and 1.4 miles from Millennium Park.The Waldorf Astoria Chicago, formerly the Elysian Hotel Chicago, is a luxury hotel located at 11 East Walton Street in the Gold Coast area of Chicago, Illinois.The hotel opened in February, 2009. In keeping with the tradition of the Gold Coast neighborhood the entrance of the project is a cobblestone courtyard. Its design emulates the grand hotels of Paris in the 1920s, complete with colonnades, spires, and a motor court.

Samba dance


Samba is a lively, rhythmical dance of Afro Brazilian origin in 2/4 time danced to Samba music whose origins include the Maxixe. Samba is a dance authentic to black/African people in Brazil who brought much of their music and dance culture into Latin America with, them upon arrival into many Latin American countries. Samba music is very similar to and has been influenced by many Angolan music genres. It has also been influenced by many other Latin American music genres and dances. The Samba music rhythm has been danced in Brazil since its inception in the late 16th century.

Corpse Flower Bloom After 9 Years


Hundreds of people flocked to the Gurukula Botanical Sanctuary at Alattil in Kerala state, India to watch this rare flower in bloom. This flower, that stands at almost two metres tall, will last for just 48 hours before it collapses in on itself.This flower, a native of rainforests in western Sumatara, Indonesia, is unable to pollinate on it's own uses its stench of rotting meat to attract pollinators like flies and beetles. The flower owing to its rarity is classified as a ‘vulnerable’ species with the next stage endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

India Launches Record 20 Satellites In 26 Minutes, Google Is A Customer



SRIHARIKOTA, ANDHRA PRADESH: HIGHLIGHTS India's space agency ISRO placed 20 satellites in space today. More than half are for US, only 3 for India. India competing for bigger share of $300 billion global space industry. Shortly after 9 am, India successfully launched a rocket which deposited a record 20 satellites in 26 minutes - proof that the country's famously frugal space agency, ISRO, is headed for a larger slice of the lucrative commercial space market. The rocket blasted off from the southern spaceport of Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh, carrying satellites mainly for international customers including the US, Germany and a Google-owned company. It was the most satellites India has put in space at one go, though Russia set the record of 37 for a single launch in 2014.
