When Toad Told!

Gopal was in first-stranded
The teacher used to give him assignments
As he was poor in studies
And him to improve his parents wished

One day teacher read a story about toad,
And helped Gopal spell out, “T-O-A-D.”
While Gopal was writing a story
Who seemed to be very happy.

Teacher thought Gopal had progressed
Seeing him finished writing story looking satisfied
So teacher asked Gopal to read it aloud
He read, “I toad my mama, I like her !”

Amounts Size Earned

Gopal and Sham were friends
They used to get high school funds from the government
Although Gopal parents were rich
And from them a large sum was within reach.

From the money from his parents
He used to eat ice cream and chocolates
With his friend Sham who shared same taste
But one morning Gopal smiled least.

Government had decided to direct deposit to parents account
Sham happily told “You would have the money in an instant”,
But Gopal replied , “For past 5 years,
I’ve been telling my parents earned very less!”

Repairing the puncture

Gopal was in 10th standard
And physically he was thin by common standard
His class-mates made fun of him
So teacher tried to boast his esteem.

In the physical training class
Students were lying on their backs “pedaling”
And everyone except Gopal was cycling fast,
To their speed he couldn’t compete.

“My cycle has a puncture”, said Gopal
Taking pity on sweating Gopal teacher told all
“Okay, let others repair the puncture,”
“Others, start pumping by doing push-ups!”

Gopal was playing with Ramu
Both were 5 years old
Ramu always thought he was better
But Gopal was always clever.

In the evening both were playing
With their toy cars in the floor speeding
As children liked toys
And when playing on them they are focused.

Gopal was leading his toy on a narrow path
And on opposite direction Ramu’s car approached,
Ramu shouted, “I never back up for idiots”
Gopal leading his car in reverse replied, “I do.!”

The Wider Net

Gopal and Ramu were neighbors
Who used to play after school
The 12 year old Gopal spoke bad language
Which Gopal mother’s mind set rage.

She know Ramu used foul language
So she warned her son not to speak
But Gopal liked Ramu very much
And thought a plan in now days of internet.

“Refuse to speak”, said Gopal’s Mother
And was very happy as he agreed
As she thought from Ramu she freed
Gopal with laptop asked, “in Facebook friends… Do I accept?
